If you’re looking for SCARLET WATERS, you’re in the right place. What started as a fun, Halloween-themed company party six years ago began steadily attracting interest from other filmmakers around the world all looking for a chance to screen in Austin, Texas.

By year three we added a few friends’ films to our lineup of Twitchy shorts. In year four we started accepting public submissions and had to move the party from our house to a hotel. We had no idea then, how fast it would grow. This year, what would have been SCARLET WATERS 666 just couldn’t be contained by the Halloween/Horror theme any longer. The beast has been let out of the cage!

So we’ve decided to take the event in a new direction by adding a second screen and broadening it’s focus to showcase the incredible talents of indie filmmakers and writers of all genres.

Now with a second screen, even more time slots are available. So we invite all filmmakers to submit your features, shorts, and screenplays of any genre before September 1 to be considered for our now 1st annual AUSTIN INDIE FLICKS SHOWCASE.

We at Twitchy Dolphin Flix couldn’t be more excited about the new future for this great event, and we’re very proud to provide a new avenue for indie film in the capital of Texas.
